Safeguarding
At North Waltham, we believe that safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. Pupil safeguarding and the promotion of fundamental British values are at the core of our work at North Waltham Primary. Great importance is placed on identifying opportunities in the taught curriculum for children to learn about safeguarding. Our broad curriculum gives pupils opportunities to experience life in all its diversity, to acquire knowledge, understanding and skills that significantly impact on personal development, behaviour and welfare and equips every child with the knowledge and skills required for personal safeguarding.
Below are some links and policies to help you understand how we work to keep children safe in school and the things that you can also do to help. Also included are some events and assemblies we have held at school as part of our regular teaching and learning to help children stay safe. There are also useful links to resources you might like to look at as a family, such as to set restrictions on the use of the Internet at home, as well as protecting yourselves against viruses
